This morning J had his first of swimming lesson at the Y. With us in the class are 2 of J's friends, Allie and Wells. Getting swimming attire on and off took just as long as the 30 minute class- but, completely worth it! We learned how to get in and out of the pool from the side, show our babies how to grab and crawl on to the side, kick feet, splash hands, blow bubbles, etc. J did great, but really started to warm up to it all when it was time to go. Next Saturday I'll get there early to give us a few minutes to acclimate. After a round of,
If you're happy and you know it, kick your feet!, we were back outside in the freezing weather.

Here's a few of J and his buds after class.

Happy Saturday, Everyone!
Ahhh...so glad he's taking swimming lessons. Anna took at 13 months and you at two years old (outdoor pools), but you were "swimming" way before that. Very important for water safety and fun for everyone! Yah J!! Cute friends. xo
