In the Spring of Things

Today J is 6 weeks!  M and I are getting much more efficient with all the details and are settled into our new, although ever changing, rhythm.  J has been such a trooper as we've been able to get him out more and more in the beautiful spring weather.

Chances are you've already seen this photo via e-mail, facebook, or that giant poster we had made... but, I couldn't help showing it off one more time to celebrate 6 weeks of our little boy.

Dinner Is On Me

Saturday we heard the familiar, yet more urgent, sound of Jake at the door asking to come in.  Looking out the window we discovered the reason for the excited, muffled meow.  Jake very proudly held in his mouth what we can only assume was a dinner offering.  Encouraging words and two treats were tossed out to him, passage inside was not permitted.

A Month Later...

Yesterday we celebrated J's 1 month birthday.  A date that also signifies the beginning of markedly less sleep, social interactions, and of course blog entries.  Although the way we see it, it's been a month of many glorious hours spent in PJs, enjoying lots of delicious food from friends and family, and taking in every second with this guy...







Happy 1 month, J! It's been our best one yet.
