Not documented is the muddy trail through the kitchen and into the pack n' play.   I was too busy throwing things into the washing machine and hollering, "bad cat! bad cat!".

Pictured below is the culprit looking perturbed after being banished to the guest bedroom.  I know I hurt his feelings, and granted, the last 2 weeks have been a bit of a change for the leopards.  They've lost all rank and every prime nap spot.  Perhaps I will have to make a special effort to watch Cash Cab this evening with a certain displaced, and confused feline.

In Just 3 Days

It was my intention to blog about J's hospital stay and first day home this past Sunday.  I planned to tell all about J meeting some of his family with witty and detailed narration.  Then I realized I barely have time to eat (it's 3pm and I'm just now eating lunch), shouldn't be taking the time to blog, and certainly have no time to be witty.  Therefore, the below photos will just have to speak for themselves about J's first 72 hours, or this post may never happen...

Great Aunt Glynice, Rob & Mallory also came to visit along with many of our friends.  We loved introducing him to you all!  Thank you for all the calls, texts, visits, meals and prayers!

Introducing...

Keeping within the non-disclosure agreement of this blog... J!  J was born last night at 8:09pm (during LOST).  6lbs 80z and 19" with a head full of hair.  M and I got a combined total of 6 hours of sleep last night (if that), not because J was fussy, but because we couldn't stop looking at him.

40 Weeks Down...

image001

This is the photo M and I received in our inbox this morning from Granddad N.  Apparently Chris' boxer, Jack, wanted to express that he too is ready for baby boy's arrival.

D-day is just 3 days away, and in case baby boy missed that memo I'll be induced on Wednesday the 11th!  Either way, M and I will have a B-A-B-Y in less than a week, wow.   We are beside ourselves with nerves and excitement (and lately I've just been beside chocolate).

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, and both our families for being so understanding while on stand-by.  We cannot wait for you all to meet him!

I'm also going to give the poll thing one more shot, despite my last failed attempt.
