Old Acquaintance

This new year's eve one of my best friends from college, Leslie, her husband, Matt, and almost 3 month old, Graham, came to stay with us on their way home from visiting family.  We had not met little Graham yet, he is adorable!  We had a great time catching up and passing all whopping 11 lbs of Graham around. Leslie & Matt also brought baby boy (Graham's future bff) a giraffe "rocking horse" (a rocking giraffe?) and some cute hand-me-downs.  Thank you!

A couple of friends came over that night and surprisingly we stayed awake long enough to watch Carson Daily's riveting coverage of the ball drop, and after enduring enough commercials, Bobby Knievel's death defying jump.  M and I went to bed around 8:30 pm New Years Day to compensate.

New Years Day one of our other best friends from college was in town, Margaret!  We rehashed those good ol' dorm days, and went out for a delicious brunch/lunch before everyone had to get back on the road.
